A total of $5454.84 was contributed by TCC employees to the United Way for 1980, according to Dale Works, who headed the campaign on campus. This is a per cent increase over last year’s contribution of $4733.44, he said.
Also, there was a 59 per cent increase in the total number of pledges over a year. Last year 56 per cent of the college’s employees contributed; this year 83 per cent have given thus far. Additional pledges are expected to come in until Nov. 15, Works said.
