The two TC Agricultural instructors, Dr. Royce Granberry, and Ken Smith recently attended the Third Annual Junior conference sponsored by the college of Agricultural Science at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Granberry said the conference included programs emphasizing the role of Junior Colleges in environmental educational and occupational training in addition to individual and group departmental conferences dealing with trends in agricultural curricula.
According to Granberry and Smith, the conference provides the opportunity for Agriculture instructors from Junior Colleges all over the state of Texas to discuss problems related to the instructional programs in their respective schools and offer ideas for their solution.
