Approximately 500 pieces of original Oriental art from Japan, China, India, Tibet, Nepal and Thailand will be on display and for sale in the TCC Student Center Thursday, November 29. The art exhibition is being sponsored by Manson Ltd. of Baltimore, Maryland and includes prints that date back into the 18th and 19th century. Alongside the Chinese woodcuts, Indian miniature paintings and manuscripts and works by Hiroshige, Kuniyoshi, and Kunisada. The modern print techniques, including the original woodcuts etchings, lithographs and engravings make up the remaining portion.

The prints will be shown in their various editions, and there will be a team of experts present to answer questions. Prices run the entire range and according to a press release from the company, “there is a treasure to be found to meet everyone’s budget.”

The art exhibition begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. in the Student Center Thursday, November 29.
