Before Registration: Take Inventory

There is no written law that says a person must take 12 hours, 15 hours, or 18 hours each semester and graduate from college in four years. Pre-registration time is when everyone should “take inventory” of his own life. There may not be too many classes to take if the student has no outside activities. On the other hand, a student who is active in TOC’s extracurricular activities, civic or church activities may need to take 15 hours or less, so that he can devote that time to his obligations. The same applies to persons with full time or part-time jobs, twelve hours is probably a full college load. It may be even too full. College should be an enjoyed. Don’t take more hours than you can handle by anyone!
