A spring course at ETSU-T called “Critical Books and Issues in America,” will give students an opportunity to read and discuss current best sellers.
The course, History 497/597, will meet Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Dr. Joedd Price as instructor.
Individual enrollment in the class will not be limited to undergraduates or graduates. Anyone who enjoys reading current works and discussing contemporary topics is eligible for enrollment.
The first book to be discussed will be Against Our Will: Men, Women and Rape by Susan Brownmiller. Other works include All the President’s Men and Passages.
Registration for the class begins Jan. 3, 1977. Anyone interested should contact the Office of Admissions at ETSU-T at 838-6514.
