The changing interests of students are reflected in the subjects they choose to study, according to enrollment statistics comparing 1967 to 1970.
Since 1967, enrollments have decreased in the Business Administration department, English, Spanish, French, and speech-drama divisions of the Language Arts department, as well as in journalism. Slight decreases have also been recorded in the mathematics, physical education, data processing, and air technology departments.
On the other hand, enrollments have risen in sociology and in the history-government-psychology-education classes. The biology, chemistry-physical science, and physics divisions of the natural science and engineering departments have shown steady increases.
