Christmas Giving in Order For Patient in Burn Hospital

At the request of James Parsons the Christmas tree used for the Snow Ball will remain up until the end of the exam week. This will give students the opportunity to leave gifts under the tree for Pamela Barrick, a 14 year old girl, who lost her family and home in a fire several weeks ago. TC students and Clubs have been assisting in the project to aid this young lady, who is now a patient in the Shriner’s Burn Hospital in Galveston.

A clothes rack was also placed in the Student Center for contributions of dresses (size 7), pajamas, bathrobe, house shoes, and other items she might use.

TC Blue Jackets began last week to send cards to cheer Pam up, and students from Parson’s biology classes are bringing gifts to the office to leave for Pam.

There is still time for everyone on campus to participate in this project to help Pamela. The tree in the Student Center will remain up during exam week and students may bring items to leave under the tree.
