“Snow flakes will fly and jingle bells will jingle and we’ll have the spirit of Ole’ Kris Kringle,” when the Texarkana College choir and TC singers present their annual Christmas program on KTAL TV Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m.
The show will be audio videotaped Dec. 10 at the Texarkana KTAL studio.
The program will be presented by 16 singers, including a wide variety of Christmas music ranging from novelty numbers to Christmas carols. The costumes will consist of purple and green bell bottom pants and black chiffon blouses for the girls, blue shirts with red apaches for the boys.
Songs to be rendered are “Gloucestershire Wassail,” “Fruitcake,” “Jingle Bell Calypso,” “Lull Lullaby.”
“Mary Walked Among the Thorns,” “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” and “If You Would Hear the Angels Sing.”
The TC Choir and TC Singers will tape for KTFS radio station Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. in the college auditorium, according to Mrs. Sue McCrossen, assistant professor of music, and Gary Bond, director.
