Circle K will raffle off five chances to ride in a helicopter around Texarkana. Raffle tickets cost $1 each. The money will be used by Circle K to help cover expenses during the convention they attend yearly.
Ronald Bright, advisor to Circle K, said such a ride in Dallas or Houston would cost about $20 for the 10 to 15 minute ride. The five winners of the raffle will, therefore, be getting their dollars’ worth. “The helicopter belongs to the Arkansas Civil Defense unit,” said Bright. “Judge Sam Rose and Kenneth Sinclaire of Texarkana, Ark. can be thanked for allowing us the use of the helicopter for this project.”
Tickets may be purchased from Circle K members for one of the most unique money-making projects of this semester.
