RICK NELSON RESCHEDULED
Rick Nelson’s concert has been rescheduled for December 5 at 8 p.m. Genesis Productions has booked Nelson for the Tuesday night engagement, according to their representative, Gary Green.
The TC Student Senate was stricken with bad luck last month when Nelson cancelled his concert only two days before he was scheduled to appear. He said his daughter was going into the hospital and it would be impossible for him to appear on that date.
Tickets for the Nelson concert are on sale at both Belk Jones stores, the Audio Center, Sound Town, and Tape Village. Advance tickets are $3 and $4 at the door.
Nelson is very sorry about his cancellation, according to the Genesis representative, and is very pleased to have been asked back. “Hopefully, a Tuesday night concert will draw a large crowd,” said Randy Moore, senate president.
The Senate is presently working on bringing a concert to the college campus early next semester.
