Compliments Flavored With Criticism By Students in Freshman English Class

Have you ever thought of ways to improve college, or considered the good things or the bad offers? Mrs. Lucille English’s 051 English class had the students put down some general suggestions and comments.
The most common gripe was about the campus bookstore. One student put it this way: “Our bookstore doesn’t close except when the lights are off.”

Another said books are also not available because lights in the store are never stocked, or who knows what book is for which class.

Another student commented on the long period of time it takes to order a book. “I still didn’t have a Basic Psychology book. When I finally got it, I was already in third week.”

Sorry, there’s only one and everyone must wait,” said another student.
The Student Center also brought good comments from writers: “There’s too much discussion, and the class time is eaten up by the jokes and talking.”

Another wrote: “I think the class gets sidetracked and edition of issues, but there is a juice bar mistake.”

However, friendliness on campus provokes a nice atmosphere to meet people and friends. One student said, “The teachers have been good,” and another said, “I haven’t been bored,” and “We need more pep.”
