Coaches, participants, and members of the audience are to be congratulated for the swim meet Thursday.
The meet was a first here. It was the first sanctioned athletic event at the Aquatic Center. It was the first time that many participants had been witnessed, it was the first time in months that a large number of students turned out to see a school sponsored event.
It goes to show that the school and students are interested in student activities. It shows that there is pride here.
Next semester we will have an activity period. The swim meet has shown that we can participate. Let us participate.
