Ms. Sharon Drake of the English Department at TCC has finished her first novel, entitled “Deceit” after two years of writing.
The book has 378 pages and is written in modern habit. The plot deals with a research doctor who experiments with human embryo transplants and a young woman who marries him.
Ms. Drake has an excellent background for writing, having taught English at TCC for the past 7 years and having personal ambitions as far back as her early teens.
Mrs. Drake said the story had been forming in her mind for a long time before she began to write. Because of limited number of other obligations she has been able to complete it in about two years. The book will be in print soon and will be ready for sale.
