Campus Bleed-In

Nov. 10 was Bleed-In day at Northeast Tarrant County Junior College. One hundred and eleven donors willingly parted with 104 pints of blood.

This incident also allowed three students to donate blood in cancellation of their traffic tickets.

Some Do, Some Don’t

Recent examination of automobile speedometers belonging to Tarrant County Junior College students yielded the following results, according to Joe Galloway, law enforcement instructor.

Fifty automobiles were examined at speeds up to 30 mph. A doplar radar checked and re-checked the automobile’s speed three times in one-fifth of a second.

The results found that 30 of the cars were two to three mph fast. The remaining 10 were accurate.
