TCC Librarian Helen Click was one of 1200 persons attending the joint conference of the Southwestern Library Association and the Mountain Plains Library Association in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nov. 11-13.
Librarians from over 14 states attended the meeting at which some 100 exhibitors from throughout the United States displayed the latest in library media.
“The Net Worth of Networking” was the theme of the conference which focused attention on regional networks for linking library information centers.
Highlighting the three day event were talks given by Clara Stanton Jones, president of the American Library Association, Alphonse F. Trezza, executive director of the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science, and Roderick G. Swartz, Washington State Librarian.
