Intramural basketball is now well underway and will continue through the spring semester, according to Wayne Williams, coach. The following is a summary and up-to-date of the games:

Four States Players vs. TCC Wings

Because of a TCC ruling which states that three technical fouls cause a team to forfeit, the Four States Players bowed to the TCC Wings when they were assessed two technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct with only 45 seconds left to play. Earlier, the Players had been given a technical foul, thus negating the 50-31 score.

The Wings’ current record is clean, while the Players fell to 0-2 after the round.

Casanova’s Trim Troopers

Led by Edward Rose’s season high 20 points, the Casanovas defeated Colonel Drooper’s Troopers 48-41 to keep them on top with a record of 2-0. The loss dropped the Troopers to 1-1.

Casanova members are Edward Rose, Gaylon Johnson, Leroy Brewer, Roger Hicks, Roy Fort, Donald Jackson and Frank Prater, who is captain.

Casanovas Blast Stars

Keeping their first place position alive, the Casanovas defeated the TCC Stars 51-24 on Nov. 18.

Edward Rose again paced the Casanovas with 15 points. The win left them in the lead while the Stars record is now 2-1.
