Le Cercle Francais held its November meeting in the Continental Room of the Student Center, Nov. 13, at 7 a.m. around a breakfast table decorated with the Eiffel Tower and balloons.
Jennie Gardner, president, urged all members to pay their dues which must be sent to the Alliance Francaise before Dec. 1.
Lowri Howard sang Sur le Pont d’Avignon and led the group in Frere Jacques. Other new members who presented a short skit, Joy Kendall Arrive en France, were: Martha Brown, Debi McCulloch, Ronnie Myers, Pat Phillips, Cindy Pound, and Betsy Strother.
The meeting ended with the Marseillaise, the French national anthem.
