Music Theatre’s First Production December 2-3

The Music Theatre Production, “Sacramento – 50 Miles” will be presented at the TCC Auditorium on Friday, Dec. 2 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2:00 p.m. Admission will be $1.00 for adults, 50¢ for students, and free to all TCC students and faculty who show their I.D.’s.

The following is the cast in their order of appearance: Rocky, a gold prospector’s wife – Belinda Matlock Lodestone, a gold prospector – Billy Deaver Darby, a dog – Robin Overstreet Molly, a burro – Terese Donovan Contessa, a cat – Marsha Day Beauregard, a rooster – Carrell Knight, Jr.

Nancy Keyton is the Production Director and Sue McCrossen is the Music Director.

The production is an Americanized, musical version of the children’s story classic “The Brementown Musicians”. A gold prospector and his wife give up panning for gold when they have the opportunity to steal some nuggets. They plan to throw all their possessions in the ravine, including their faithful old dog Darby and burro Molly. Darby and Molly overhear the plan and decide to slip away to Sacramento.

Enough of the story. The play will be seen on Dec. 2 and 3. For the conclusion of this children’s classic make sure to witness this Music Theatre Production of TCC students.
