Reality: What A Concept!

Robin Williams

Profanity. That’s what Robin Williams uses to shock his audience, who probably thought about then expectant to hear Mork from Ork. At one point on the record the audience begins chanting “Mork,” until Robin yells “I ain’t doing Mork, that’s why I’m in New York to do something different.”

A childlike innocence is shown through parts of the album such as when Robin imitates Mr. Rodgers and says “lets put Mr. Hamster in the microwave” this innocence is gone when he yells at the audience, “What do you want from me anyway?”

Robin Williams uses REALITY: WHAT A CONCEPT to show his talent for improvising with the audience by having the crowd name a subject for him to poke fun at.

BACK TO THE EGG/WINGS

BACK TO THE EGG may have been out awhile but it is still on the charts, because it’s good. This album is one of Wings’ best, yet it’s much different than their last studio effort, LONDON TOWN, which made the top ten last year.

BACK TO THE EGG contains Wings’ two hit singles, GETTING CLOSER, ARROW THROUGH ME, as well as TO YOU which is about as bad as the coconut music of LONDON TOW No their earlier sounds such as BAND ON THE RUN and GOOD NIGHT TONIGHT.

BACK TO THE EGG is another example of why Paul McCartney has become so famous. He combines catchy tunes with catchy lyrics, as in SILLY LOVE SONGS, yet unlike too many performers, he dose it with style.
