The Department of Military Science, the newest division at TC, has announced its course offerings for the spring semester.
Army ROTC classes will again be taught on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until 3:50 p.m. There are four courses that will be offered: first year basic, both first and second semesters, a leadership laboratory, and second year basic.
The two-credit hour courses are transferable and will substitute for required physical education credits. An additional section, to be announced, may be offered depending upon student need and interest, according to Capt. John Shirilla, ROTC instructor.
Capt. Shirilla stressed that the ROTC courses carry no military obligation and are open to both male and female students.
Faculty members of the department are available on campus every Tuesday to answer student inquiries. In addition, a faculty representative will be available in the counselor’s office in the Student Center during the pre-enrollment period from Jan. 2 through the 16th.
