Wick Timble, a former TCC student and executive sports editor for the Associated Press, was selected by the Student Activities Committee to speak at TCC in the spring semester.
Timble will talk about various sports personages he has known through his job as a part of TCC’s 50th anniversary celebration.
In other meeting news, the group approved a new club charter. Dean Hughes gave the group an updated report on the Committee of 12 activity fee overhaul.
The group also voted to bring the New Shakespeare Company of San Francisco back this spring as well as David Toma, a police disguise expert and “Charlie and Company”, a production about Charlie Chaplin. The SAC will also sponsor a film festival in conjunction with the Chaplin production.
