Sasser Wins Talent Show

A small crowd was on hand Wednesday for the Freshman Follies, a talent show sponsored by the TC Players. Student Senate and the TC Stage Band also held in the TCC Auditorium. Seven acts competed for cash prizes. The first place winner was Quinton Sasser, who disco-danced to “Rapper’s Delight.” Second prize went to Kirk Loshe, doing a comedy routine impression of Steve Martin, and third place was Mary Runnels with her version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Other contestants included Jamela Shareaf, who sang; Lorna McCauley, who played piano and sang; A Touch of Class disco dancers; and also Dala Willis who sang. The TC Stage Band provided some excellent intermission entertainment.
