An art show featuring 39 pieces of art work produced by Texarkana College art students is on display at Smith’s Department Store in downtown Texarkana. The display is found on the fourth floor of the new store building.
Several different kinds of art work on display, ranging from still life paintings, modern art paintings and contemporary paintings to several pottery and metal-like sculpture. The art work will be on display until Dec. 8, according to Ralph Caver, TC art instructor.
Art students who contributed to the show are Steven Jones, Larry Thornton, Nancy Melton, Nancy Kemp, M. Long, Pres. Nole, J. Buchanan, Stuart Cobb, T. C. Brown, Joseph Clark, Ann Jennings, T. Pounds, Val Long, Michael Shelley, James E. Clark and Jansen Gudger.
