Evelyn Cay Teague, a 1976 TCC Associate Degree Nursing Program graduate, was one of two students in Texas to score highest in the area of pediatric nursing in the State Test Pool Examination last July. This examination is necessary for licensure as a registered nurse. It consists of five areas, of which all five must be passed: medical nursing, surgical nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatric nursing, and pediatric nursing.
