Thirteen TCC students have been named to the 1978-79 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges.
The students include Gail E. Thomas of Atlanta, Lynette R. Ballard of Foreman, and Martha T. Cowley of New Boston.
Texarkana residents on the list are Sharon G. Davis, Shirley F. Lishman, Dorothy J. Marlar, Debra K. Moffatt, Jon M. Northam, Mary J. Overing, Genevieve L. Thompson, Paul W. Jurner, Glenda S. Walker, and Walter W. Woodruff.
These students were chosen on a basis of academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extra-curricular activities and future potential. Students included in this annual directory come from over 700 institutions across the nation.
