Rolfe C. Wylie’s oral interpretation class presented “Many Moons”, by James Thurber last week to the tenth grade creative writing class at College Hill Junior High.
For the program, Wylie chose Thurber’s fantasy play and assigned each student a part. Those participating in the program were Kathy Merchant, William Hooper, Sara Coble, Jim Nicholas, Richmond Moore, Bob Stephens, Chris Ellsworth, and Bruce Singleton.
When the group had presented part of the play, Wylie’s class then asked the ninth graders how they would conclude the action. After hearing the different answers from most of the students, the oral interpretation class then finished the presentation.
This was the second performance of the semester for the class, the first being for two speech classes at Pine Street Junior High.
