Yearbook Editor Announces Eleven Who’s Who for 1972

Who’s who of 1972 for TC were announced today by Sheila Rodgers, yearbook editor.

WHO’S WHO — 1972 Who’s Who, selected by the faculty, are from left, Terry Fry, Anita Rankin, Shiela Rodgers, Jimmy Teague, Cylla Rodgers, Steve Long, Mary Thomas, Randy Guillot, and Sherry Ryan. All were selected on the basis of leadership and outstanding academic abilities.

Chosen by faculty members, all are sophomores and have exhibited qualities of leadership and high academic standing.

Who’s who members are Randy Guillot, Terry Frye, Steve Long, Anita Rankin, Cylla Rodgers, Sherry Ryan, Jimmy Teague, Carey Smith, Mary Thomas and Terri Folsom.

Terry Frye is a drama major and has appeared in many TC drama productions. He was supporting actor in last year’s musical, “On a Clear Day.”

President of his class for his freshman and sophomore years, Randy Guillot is a business major. He is District Circle K Governor and was secretary of Circle K last year.

Terri Folsom, now working on her Associate Nursing degree, was on the President’s List three semesters and received a $500 scholarship from the William Buchanan School of Nursing.

Steve Long is photographer for the TC Campus News, the 1972 Yearbook and Kaleidoscope. He enjoys all sports, especially fishing.

Anita Rankin, a member of Blue Jackets, has been a Student Senator for both her years at TC. She is an elementary education major and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Cylla Rodgers, editor of the TC Campus News and Kaleidoscope, is a member of Blue Jackets and was on the President’s List last semester. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Editor of the 1972 Yearbook, Sheila Rodgers is a Blue Jacket and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She was associate editor of the TC Campus News in 1971, spring semester.

Cary Smith, a political science major, is president of Young Democrats and News Editor of the TC Campus News.

Jimmy Teague works in the Media Center in the video tape department. He is lead singer in “Pucker” and was in “The Physician in Spite of Himself.”

Mary Thomas, president of Blue Jackets, and Phi Theta Kappa vice-president. She was on the Dean’s List last year.
