The Texarkana College Choir presented its annual Christmas music at an assembly Tuesday, December 1, in the College Auditorium. The thirty-one member choir opened the program with a version of “Sleigh Ride.” Other numbers included “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “It’s Christmas Once Again,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Silver Bells,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Have Yourself a Merry, Merry Christmas.” Vanette Nash sang a solo part from “The Christmas Song,” accompanied by the choir.
TC students viewed the choir’s outfits for the first time this season at the assembly. Boys sported royal blue blazers, black slacks, and white ascots. Girls wore off-white blazers with royal blue skirts and ascots. On all blazers were the choir’s special insignia.
