The Texarkana College KENNEL would like to take this opportunity of extending its congratulations to the Texas High School Tigers for their fine football season, which has brought so much honor to the city.
The Tigers compiled an outstanding 12-1 mark this season, gaining the semifinals of the state AAAA playoffs before losing in a closely contested 28-21 tilt with Odessa.
Although they lost their final outing, nothing can detract from perhaps the greatest season in Texarkana high school football history, and for this the KENNEL sincerely expresses its admiration and gratitude.
