Dr. C. Michael Ribariu was appointed Director of Public Relations by the Board of Regents at the regular meeting of the Board early this month. He is already at work on the job.
Having been associated with various institutions of higher learning for a number of years, Dr. Ribariu comes to Texarkana College from the University of Orlando, Fla. At Orlando he was with the Evening Division of the school and taught some classes in education, psychology, and speech. He also served during that time as guidance and counseling psychologist assigned to the Base Education Office at the Orlando Air Force Base.
Dr. Ribariu has a B.A. degree in radio and television education from the College and Conservatory of Music of Cincinnati. From the University of Cincinnati he has a master of education degree in administration and supervision. He has also completed some studies with the Air Force Association.
