The other day I got bored in history class, and decided to “case the joint”. It just dawned on me that there was a good-looking gentleman sitting in front of me. It was none other than Pat Robbins from Nashville, Arkansas. Girls, here is a switch—he loves the female sex. Pat is just a black-haired, brown-eyed normal male. He is 5′ 10″ tall, weighs 170 pounds. You can always find him if you look for the colors black and white (his favorite). He is a sophomore this year, and is majoring in physical education. Say, gals, I hear he is quite a dancer—but I haven’t seen any signs. Have you? Oh, by the way, Pat, why is it that when a certain person gives an oral report in history class, you get up and leave?
There was quite a commotion over at the dorm Sunday night about 2:00 A.M. The instigator was none other than Hap Wright from Mooringsport, Louisiana. Tell me, Hap, what was it the coach gave you that unforgettable night? Happy’s favorite food is hot dogs, and his favorite hangout is the dam site. Quite a combination. Maybe it was a little too much for one night, eh, Hap? Kids, if you don’t know Hap, why not meet him? He has a most interesting personality!
If you happen to be passing by the French and hear a low, subtle voice answering (Ji he se pas) it will probably be that of Velda Jean Pynes, a freshman from Avery, Texas. Take notice, boys. Here is a real doll, 5′ 1″, blonde hair and blue eyes.
Jean spends many hours riding her father’s race horses when she isn’t studying her engineering math. This girl has high ambitions. Her major is architectural engineering. She’s a good homemaker, too—loves to sew.
