Miss Gwendolyn Dean, head librarian, is the new chairman of the college section of District Six of the Texas Library Association.
She was selected at the Association meeting Nov. 18 in Palestine.
Miss Dean will prepare future programs and preside over the Association meeting to be held in Longview next year.
She came to Texarkana College in 1958. Miss Dean is an alumna of East Texas State and the University of Arkansas.
