Mrs. Marjorie Cowman, Supervisor of the Pediatric Ward at Wadley Hospital, will be the key speaker at the District Workshop of the Texas Student Nurses Association meeting tomorrow here.
“Making the Transition from Student Nurse to Professional Nurse,” is the topic for her 1:30 p.m. address scheduled for the Blue Room in the William Buchanan Nursing Building.
According to TC’s district president and local president, Suzanne Bohleke, the state chairman of the TSNA nominating committee, Miss Joyce Meyer of Houston, will also be present.
About 75 student nurses from Dallas, Tyler, and Texarkana are expected to attend the day-long workshop. A luncheon at Howard Johnson’s is scheduled.
