Phi Theta Kappa inductees Fall 1966

The Zeta Sigma Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa held its formal fall initiation for the new members on Thursday night, October 27, at 7:30 in the ballroom of the Student Center. The new members were led in by the officers: Joe Bowden, president; Tom Jones, vice-president; Sue Reese, secretary; Cynthia Johnson, treasurer; and Jane Meeker, reporter. The new members are: Sarah Braden, Rudolph Drautz, Gary Lee, Sandra Kay Lumbly, Peggy Miller, Sharon Kay Owen, and Pamela Ward. Buford Hawkins was unable to attend. The speaker for the program was Mr. Murry Alewine, who spoke on contemporary music. Refreshments were served downstairs after the program. Mr. James Bennett, sponsor, and Mrs. Betty Carter, co-sponsor, were present for the event.
