The Circle “K” W. P. Akin tuition for one semester at Texarkana College. It is presently conceived shortly after careful investigation that this amount is practical for all expectations thus far.
It was originally conceived that the fund would provide the outstanding freshman of the class, being made for a full year; one from each of the colleges for the larger later.
The scholarship fund is ahead of its timetable, due mainly to the tremendous efforts of Mr. Jim Morrison, who had a strong program. Secondly, it is hoped that the interest on the money will provide a permanent income for the scholarship and thus operate on a more permanent basis.
