Student Senate Minutes

A called meeting of the Student Senate was brought to order by the President, Tommy Jones, in the Student Senate Room of the Student Center at 10:00 Thursday morning, October 27, 1966.

A brief discussion was held concerning the Slop Hop in which the President asked for volunteers to help decorate for the dance. He announced that the Senate had hired the Confederates for $130 and that the dance would last from 8:00 to 12:00 P.M.

Joe Kelly gave a report concerning the Student Directories. He reported that he had sold $85 in ads and that he needed help in selling $160 more by Saturday. The President stated that the Alaska Printing Company would start printing the directories Monday, October 31. He then asked for volunteers to help look up phone numbers in the Registrar’s Office for the directories. Those volunteering were Bradley Hall, Brenda Goodwin, Julia Goff, James Walker, and Andi Burns.

There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned.
