Dale Works, a member of the physical education faculty at Texarkana College, is currently conducting a safety and first aid course for the Beverly School Girl Scout Troop 263.
The course began November 8 and will continue for several more weeks. The troop leader is Mrs. Ernest Crowell.
Topics to be covered include artificial respiration, different ties with the triangular bandage, a study of the poisonous snakes of Texas, and the preparation of a list of different poisons found in the home.
