This newly organized group under the sponsorship of Joe Downs will promote interest and participation in theater activities and provide quality entertainment for members, the student body, and the community.
At an organizational meeting Thursday, November 5, the groundwork for the TC Players was laid. A constitution was adopted and the following officers were elected: Neal McMurry, president; Robert Minton, vice-president; Betty Stanley, secretary; Jean Sava, treasurer; and Joe Pondrom, Student Senate Representative. Committee co-chairmen appointed were: Wendy Ellis and Kay Logino, promotion; Carolyn Maley and Roberta Johnson, hospitality.
Membership is still open, and all those considering joining are invited to do so.
