Rev. C. W. Rue-Padgett noted to the community that the world is living in troubled times when he addressed the Second Annual Favorite Professor Breakfast at Texarkana College.
He told those assembled that the biggest problem in America today is not communism but the indifference of good citizens. He referred to the spirit of “anti-Christ” at work in the world and called for an increase in attendance to study the Bible.
“We have a duty as citizens,” Rue-Padgett said. He pointed out that many of the biggest men in college come to the dining hall and mingle, and stressed that such fellowships between faculty and students make a real difference in college life.
The Second Annual Favorite Professor Breakfast was held to encourage fellowship between students and faculty at Texarkana College.
